Silent Rebellion is a powerful drama about finding the courage to choose one’s own path, defying the stifling norms of society. The film speaks urgently to our current times, in which women’s rights and self-determination are once again under pressure. Silent Rebellion is the feature film debut of Marie-Elsa Sgualdo and premiered in Venice. The film was subsequently selected for many international festivals and won two major Swiss awards.
